Position Description:
This role is predominately focused on: Non-Traditional
The GIRC team is part of the CIF organization. The primary focus of our team is support our business partners and provide account reconciliation services. We support many business partners across the organization. Key priorities for our team are to exceed reconciliation standards and become the main reconciliation provider.
The teammate in this role is responsible for Complex reconciliations, Subject Matter Expertise across all account types, Quality Assurance, Process Improvements. Generally, the work routine occurs along the following timeline, MondayFriday 8:00-4:30pm. As part of the responsibilities of the role, the teammate will develop business partner relationships with various lines of business. Throughout the tenure of the role, the teammate should gain exposure and acumen in related areas of the organization, and develop or improve the following skills: Leadership, project management,mentoring, inspiring others and quality initiatives.
The team is composed of approximately 55 employees located in Providence, RI.
Enterprise Role Overview:
Responsibilities are similar to the intermediate finance analyst in general accounting, but they are of less magnitude and involve limited authority. While individuals work independently on general accounting activities, such as general ledger preparation, processing of accounting records, general ledger or subsidiary system activity, and maintenance of the general ledger, they work under the direction of senior staff on complex projects and analyses.

BS/BA (Finance/Accounting Preferred)
Advanced Excel
Financial Statement Analysis Experience
Comfort working with complex Financial Products
