Job description
This role is predominately focused on: Controller
The Corporate Treasury and Investments Finance team is part of the Chief Accounting Officer organization. The primary focus of this role is to support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of internal control structures in compliance with various governance requirements. Our business partners include all of the Corporate Treasury and Investments Finance team as well as Middle and Back Office, Finance Risk Management, QA/QC, CFO Ops Risk, Internal Audit and PwC.
"The teammate in this role is responsible for leading meetings with internal and external partners, including senior level managers, to achieve team objectives; assist in the coordination of annual SOX/DCP deliverables including management of internal processes; implementation of the enterprise new Quality Assurance/Quality Control and the new spreadsheet policy requirements; support Business Continuity for Corporate Treasury and Investments Finance team and other adhoc activities as assigned by direct manager and Corporate Treasury and Investments Finance Controller.
Throughout the tenure of the role, the teammate should gain exposure to the asset liability management (Corporate Investments) and the funding activities (Corporate Treasury) of the corporation through relationship building and direct interaction with other finance team members. Development or improvement of communication skills, business partnering, and project management should be expanded as a member of this team."
The team is composed of approximately 18 employees located in Charlotte NC
This position is posted as an SFA but is flexible to be filled as an IFA if the posted qualifications are met by a strong IFA level applicant.
