Job Description
Bank of America N. A. Tokyo Banknotes Operations is looking for an enthusiastic, cooperative and communicative individual. Tokyo Banknotes Operations performs the end to end operations for Banknotes business in Japan. Also the team has active communication with Japan clients for attending to their needs and queries, and delivers world-class services. And the team works with Tokyo Sales team, Global Wholesale Banknotes and Global Banknotes Operations, and provides information and support to the stakeholders. The role requires building strong relationships with Business Partners across LOBs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary interface with the client to respond their request and inquiry.
  • Address day-to-day inquiry from clients.
  • Use knowledge of world-class service and build good long term relationship with clients.
  • Understand products and services in Banknotes business and identify customers’ needs.
  • Work with Sales team and deliver the best services to clients.
  • Supervise multiple functions within the area. Assimilate information and identify key points and trend in the data.
  • Make logical and timely decisions and look for alternative options before taking a decision.
  • Timely escalation of any issues and concerns of banknotes business and its operations & customer services

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in bank in Japan
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in customer services or dealing with clients
  • Experience in working at Banking Operations or Treasury Operations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and management skill
  • Team Player and customer oriented Experience in managing unit/team
  • Fluent in Japanese (written, reading and speaking) and Business Level in English (written, reading and oral communication)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Desirable:
    • Technical skills of Microsoft Access and Excel VBA
    • Accounting knowledge
    • Experience in Risk Management
