Job Description

Bank of America Merrill Lynch is seeking to hire a Margin Production Support Analyst to join our Risk Production Management team in Dublin. The role is to provide application support for highly critical risk systems and to ensure availability and reliability of business critical applications within the Global Risk Technology line of business.

As Margin Production Support Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:

• Ensuring availability and reliability of business critical applications within the Global Risk Technology line of business.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with business and technology leads
• Ensuring a smooth handover and implementation of new functionality
• User and batch issue resolution
• Incident investigation, root cause analysis and irreversible corrective action
• Disaster recovery test coordination, preparation and execution
• Change request management
• Creating & maintaining support documentation
• Metric Reporting

As Margin Production Support Analyst, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Production support experience in a financial institution or in other similar organization with large, live, and high availability production support environment
• Very good communications and analytical skills
• Strong hands on SQL experience with the ability to create complex SQL queries to identify performance issues or to check integrity of data
• Scripting experience with Perl, Python or other scripting language
• Windows & Unix/Linux experience.
